&amp;lt;li&amp;gt;Started new university and middle-school curricula on journalism, including working with citizen journalists.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;lt;li&amp;gt;Co-conceived a satellite community newsroom in a coffeeshop in Oakland, Calif., run by a legacy newspaper.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;lt;li&amp;gt;Offered new insights and projects initiated by industry leaders &amp;amp; shared with readers in columns and blogs&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;lt;li&amp;gt;Spurred and fostered management shifts including re-examination of beat systems and reporting styles&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;lt;li&amp;gt;Held training seminars for citizen journalists in Michigan, Missouri, Massachusetts and California.&amp;lt;/ul&amp;gt;&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
