Carol White is book editor for the ePluribus Media collaborative. She lives in Hamilton, Va.  , near Leesburg, and is a contributing writer to Leesburg Today.    She has  had a long and varied career, but the salient points are a first career as mathematics  teacher in NYC high schools and then at the City University of New York. After that she morphed into being a science writer and editor. These days her news beat is the local culture scene. <br>

She received a BA from Barnard College in psychology with minors in English and mathematics.
I received an MA in mathematics from NYU in 1969. After doing child welfare work from 1954 to 1965 she switch to being a high school and then university mathematics teacher. My last job was for the City
University of New York. AFter living several years in Great Britain, she returned to the U.S. to become a free-lance science writer, and ultimately edited a small science magazine. 21st Century Science and Technology. Three years ago hse became a contributing writer for
Leesburg Today, and I also contribute to a quad-state arts journal, The
MainARTery.
