Chris Peck, editor of The Commercial Appeal in Memphis, Tenn., is working on a fresh draft of The JTM-Next Newsroom prototype business plan. You can find see the first cut at: http://newshare.typepad.com/jtmnextnewsroom . . . He'll be presenting the revisions, probably in collaboration with others who are working on related projects, including Chris O'Brien's Duke University Next Newsroom project, and the non-profit journalism efforts of Michael Stoll, Josh Wilson, Lewis Freedberg and others. We hope to have participants from several other announced and fledgling initiatives.
