WHO'S COMING TO 'RETHINKING RANGANATHAN?'
- How technology is changing how students use the library -- Technology is changing the focus of school and public libraries. More librarians are teaching students how to research online, evaluate online sources, and use e-readers and other devices. "When they do research they go straight to the computers," high-school librarian Danna Bruns said. "It has changed what I purchase. We used to have a lot of nonfiction books that were used for research, and now it's more memoirs that you just want to read," Bruns added.
