8:30 a.m. -- Project work continues

  • Starting anytime after 8 a.m. in the Domain Hotel breakfast cafe (lobby level), reconvene conceive/design/build breakouts from Friday and select a comfortable venue to work around the hotel. These projects, initiatives and seedling companies can continue hacking, and talking.

Participation in the SPJ-Domain Hotel JournaTech Expo and all SPJ discussions on Saturday is FREE for NewsTools2008-registered participants. For information on renting an expo table, or to attend just on Saturday, CLICK HERE. To go directly to Saturday-only registration, CLICK HERE.

Afternoon workshops, panels, seminars

  • After lunch, SPJ will convene two sets of workshops, panels or seminars on journalism/media topics relevant to the region. The SPJ program specifics will begin to be posted during February.

Briefings and the next steps

  • At 3:30 p.m., SPJ, NewsTools and Expo participants will all gather for final briefings and next-step announcements from the NewsTools2008 project workers.

NewsTools2008.org participants are automatically enrolled in the day's activities at the Domain Hotel; a one-day registration (including box lunch) for Saturday will be available soon from SPJ.
