HOW YOUR SUPPORT HELPS
The Media Giraffe Project is supported by foundation grants and gifts, event proceeds, individuals, and the by the work of volunteers. You can support the work of The Media Giraffe Project by making a tax-deductible contribution to our fiscal sponsor, The University of Massachusetts. Among things your MGP-designated contribution will support:
- Stipends for journalism students working on giraffe profiles
- Underwriting conferences, workshops and other forms of outreach
- Financing of video productions for professional and classroom use
- Maintaining the editing and expansion of our web resources
HOW TO GIVE
You can make your gift in any of three ways:
- Email or call (413-577-4370) Bill Densmore, Media Giraffe Project director to discuss your gift.
- UMass maintains a convenient web form for providing donations. After entering your gift information, scroll to the bottom of the page to the pulldown bar marked "Allocation." Choose the last option, "Other, enter below." In the additional line which then appears below, enter: "Media Giraffe Project."
- For gifts of $25 or less, you may use the Amazon Honor System.
PROJECT GIFT OPTIONS
The Media Giraffe Project is also available on a fee basis to provide consulting on media innovation and entrepreneurship and to manage related events and projects.
