I have been a business reporter in San Francisco since 1992; a media blogger since 2005; I started an alternative monthly and have some radio and TV experience.

I believe that above all else independent, web-based content creators need open-source, revenue-sharing & credit-sharing software and I have a scheme to encourage this

I am a pragmatist. I have business experience. And yet I am a card-carrying" daily newspaper journalist. I want to discuss how to support high-brow work on a lowest-common-denominator network."
