Group three: Spent a lot of time talking about copyright and the need to instruct kids to be responsible users of media. But they weren’t sure what the rules were. There are shades of grey.
Also talked about integrated journalism into art and English classes uses http://www.myhsj.org …. Also NPR’s http://www.thisibelieve.org site. There are 500-word essays about core values of everyday people, including teen-agers. There is a 30-40 page curriculum about writing for a worldwide audience.
