STUDENT MEMBER -- $10 or pay what you can

Benefits:

• One-year membership in NENC
• 10% discount to any NENC forums/events/workshops
• 10-week subscription to the New England Common from launch (expected April, 2007)

FOUNDING MEMBER – Suggested $25 (or pay what you can)

Benefits:

• One-year membership in NENC
• 25% discount to any NENC forums/events/workshops
• 25 Free Downloads at a newspaper website
• 25-week subscription to the New England Common online
• 25% discount all UMass Online courses

FOUNDING FRIEND -- $100

Benefits:

• All benefits of Founding Members
• Copy of Dan Okrent’s book: “Public Editor No. 1”
• Receive all NENC written reports by mail
• One-year subscription to New England Common online
• Free attendance at New England News Common, UMass-Amherst Fall 2007, or one other NENC workshop or seminar
• Founding Friend benefits for one other individual

FOUNDING BENEFACTOR -- $500

Benefits:

• All benefits of Founding Friends
• Free attendance at all NENC events for one year
• Founding Friend benefits for one designated individual
• Founding Member benefits for up to four designated individuals
• Invitation to special meeting of NENC Board of Advisors
• Additional premiums TBD

FOUNDING SPONSOR -- $2,000

Benefits:

• All benefits of Founding Benefactors
• NENC membership for up to 100 employees/associates in one organization
• Invitation to all meetings of NENC Board of Advisors
• Additional premiums TBD

FOUNDER -- $5,000

Benefits:

• All benefits of Founding Sponsors
• NENC membership for up to 500 employees/associates in one organization
• Nomination to Board of Advisors for standard term.

How to contribute

The University of Massachusetts is fiscal sponsor for the New England News Council. Your membership contribution should be made payable to: "Univ. of Mass.-NENC." Please put in the memo section of your check: "For N.E. News Council."
